The Service Access Fee is basically DISH Network's cost of subscriber maintenance such as authorization, software upgrades of the receiver etc. TV JAPAN standalone subscription requires the access fee. If you subscribe to American programming package such as DISH FAMILY America's Top 100, America's Top 200, or America's 250 along with TV JAPAN, the access fee is already included in the subscription fee. In this case, you will not be charged an access fee.

Call DISH Network (1-800-333-DISH) to cancel the service. If you own the equipment, you may sell or give your equipment to others. The new owner of the equipment will have to go through the same procedure for ordering TV JAPAN: installation of the equipment and authorization from DISH Network through the above phone number. If you rent the equipment, you need to return the equipment to DISH Network in order to avoid the surcharges.
