【Continental USA】
You will need one dish satellite system whether you are subscribing to TV JAPAN alone or together with American programming packages.
DISH Network utilizes a satellite located at 118.7°WL to serve the entire country with both TV JAPAN and American channels. Under certain circumstances, customers who only subscribe to TV JAPAN may be permitted to use the satellites located at 61.5°WL (for residents East of Colorado) or 148 WL (for all other residents). DISH Network also offers American programming Packages from its main satellite located at 119°WL and 110°WL.

TV JAPAN is now available in Hawaii through DISH Network satellite service from 119 WL. Subscribers in Hawaii only need a single dish to view TV JAPAN and DISH Network's American programming packages as well as many local Hawaii broadcast channels.
